Annie’s View (January 21st)

Sunday, January 21st, 2007

Hello Viewers,
Welcome back to another View.
I want to thank all of you that have answered the Good the bad and the Screwjob View that I have up (Yes, it’s still up now) So, if you haven’t answered these questions, please do. Right now, nobody’s winning for the Worst wrestler? So C’mon, do you really want to see THAT happen? Me either. Now I was going to vote and I will but not if my voting is going to sway the outcome. Nope, I just wanna be a voice in the crowd but not the one who tips the scale. So please vote.
Charity has a new column up and the link is on my website. Please feel free to read her columns. They’re pretty good and right now, she’s upset with all the people that have been let go. I am amazed at some of the talent Vince has let go but I think I’m even more surprised at some he’s keeping. But, here’s her link just in case you want to read hers before me and why not? LOL http://swantonrant.anniesview.net
Before I really get started here I would like to take time out to say how much I will miss Bam Bam Bigalow. What a fun wrestler he was to watch. Love the flaming bald head. I can’t stand tattoos but for some reason, I really did think Bam Bam’s was awesome. He’s going to be missed by true wrestling fans and for you younger fans that didn’t get to see him wrestle (due to Vince NOT letting him wrestle) go and rent some old tapes or watch WWE 24/7 if you can. You’ll see some really great matches with Bam Bam.
TRIPLE H
Hunter’s hurt again and I think I know why. Of course, he pushes himself. But since he’s now married into the company (who knew THAT would happen when he first came into wrestling) I think he feels that now he must perform all the time and make sure he gets that belt as often as he can before his career fades. Which, if this keeps up, he’ll be fading a lost faster than he should. Look at Hogan, Look at Flair well, let’s not look at Flair.
Maybe we should though. Flair puts on a good show but maybe he’s still around because he walked away from Vince and the 24/7 all the time and went to WCW where he worked but not as often so not as hard. Same thing with Hogan and Hall, Nash and well you get the idea.
My point is, that when your in the WWE your expected to perform even when your not at your full potential which I think is sad.
Perhaps this is one reason why Kurt Angle moved on. Not because he wanted to leave the WWE really but rather, because the WWE wanted him to work all the time and lets face it, Kurt has issues and we all know what they are. But perhaps he’ll deal with them better now that he’s not on the road all the time. Time will tell.
I know this sounds like I really hate Vince and No, that’s not the case. But as one of my Viewers says all the time (I BLAME VINCE) and frankly, I do to.
And just for proof of this….
Nope. Hunter is great. He’s one of those guys that actually loves is work. I mean, not everyone finds their passion in life and so, when someone does, your happy for them. Besides, I simply LOVE Hunter. I love the look, the way he wrestles, I love all his names, HHH, The Game, King of Kings and The Cerebral Assassin
But Hunter like Angle knew what he was getting into. Yet, he still gives 100% of himself in each and every match.
Some say that he pulled his quad (the first one) from steroids) which is probably true. Okay it is true. This time people are saying all kinds of reasons. But my point is, did you see that match? I mean did you watch him? He never left the ring. He didn’t tell anyone to stop the match. He continued it much like most of them do. Now THAT takes a lot to do but mostly, that’s someone who really doesn’t want to disappoint himself or the fans. Especially the fans.
I think this is truly one of the HUGE reasons I love Hunter so much. He gives it all in the ring when he goes. When Hunter is on the card the match (at least with him) is almost always worth watching. And, he cracks me up. Whether alone or with HBK as DX, Hunter can add comedy and I like that too.
There are a lot of wrestlers I really like. There are a lot of wrestlers I don’t like. There are a handful of wrestlers I LOVE. Tripe H is one of them.
I hope he heels quickly but I hope he stays home a little longer than he needs to and rests. I know this therapy is no walk in the park but I know that Hunter will get through it. He is The Game after all.
Again, if you haven’t read and answered my questions, please do. This is it for another Annie’s View. Want a QOTW here it is. Did you answer my poll? :D
Until next time, be good or be like me, really good doin it.
