Annie’s View (November 28th)

How was your Thanksgiving? I hope you all had a great day of food, family and football. How about those Cowboys? That’s my families team because my Son has informed me that their really the only team.
That being said I do hope each and every Viewer had a wonderful Thanksgiving and for those of you who are wondering Yes, I HAVE already been to the gym to try and work off that Prime Rib dinner I made.
Now this is going to be short and sweet mostly because I didn’t see the PPV however, Charity was kind enough to fill me in and I just wanted to write a few thoughts on this. Hopefully though, I’ll be able to write another column after RAW tomorrow night so here goes.
A GOOD PPV: Now that really doesn’t even sound right. It actually sounds like an oxymoron but, since I have found out the results all I can say is WOW. It sounds like a great PPV one that shouldn’t have been missed by this Viewer. It’s just that the last time I bought one I was deeply disappointed. I probably will, however, by Wrestlemania simply because that usually is the best of the best. The Superbowl of wrestling. Isn’t that what Vince calls it?
CENA WINS: Well I was afraid frankly that he’d lose and I wouldn’t have been able to watch that. Oh sure, I know that he will, eventually lose the belt however, I just didn’t want it to be now. Charity also told me that Cena FU’d Big Show. Well, I’ll bet he’s having a back massage now and I wish I were there to but I digress. I think Cena lifting the Big Show and all the other big boys he’s lifted is only proof once again of the David VS Goliath theory. Just because your smaller doesn’t mean your weaker. Oh I know what your thinking. Your going to write me and say ‘Annie um, don’t you realize that Big Show had a hand in Cena’s lifting him? To which I will say of course I do but to STILL be able to lift a man of that size and stature is totally amazing to me. I mean, how many of us could?
BENOIT DOES ME PROUD: Of course even when he loses I’m proud of being a Benoit fan. Of course tonight he did me proud. He kicked Chavo’s butt across the ring and back and I for one couldn’t be prouder of him. I’m sick to death of this story line and frankly, I think it’s time we all let Eddy RIP.
DX: How can you not love them? While I didn’t see this I just know that HBK was a smart alec, Hunter was ornery and together along with Jeff and Matt they kicked major butt. A happy girl am I.
THE ONLY DEPRESSING MOMENT. Is that Undertaker lost. What? Undertaker lost to Kennedy? Interesting and yet, sad all at once. Oh sure this leads to another match where I’m sure Undertaker will come out victorious but boy, you gotta love Undertaker for well, so many reasons. And losing to Kennedy is one of them. Oh and don’t think I don’t like Kennedy because I do. This would have been a hard match to watch for me simply because I love both guys. However, my loyalties lie with the Phenom and so I’d have been rooting for him.
BATISTA WINS: And more importantly, Booker T loses. That’s right you read that correctly. You know I love Booker and Yes, I really do. However, I am just so happy to see that Batista is able to wrestle and he’s been out for such a long time it’s good to see a belt around his waist again. I’m sure the match was great to watch since both men are awesome in the ring but Batista’s time is now although, I don’t see Booker going away but I do wish his wife would.
LITA LEAVES??? Or so it is said. But will she really go? Will she turn up in TNA? Or will she really retire from a business that has been calling her names for over a year now. If she’s really gone I will miss her wrestling skills, her time on the mic as I think she’s pretty good. But I think I’ll miss the old Lita more. The one that was with the Hardy boys, the one that seemed to be a good girl the one that was idolized by so many as a really well worker in the ring. Not this harsh, brash Lita we’ve come to know. If she’s gone I wish her luck wherever she goes.
