Annie’s View (Oct 25th)
Wednesday, October 25th, 2006Hello Viewers and welcome to another one of my Views. But please keep in mind YOUR Views are just as important as mine if not, moreso. That being said, I’m looking for someone that loves wrestling, or, hates something about wrestling. You know, something that really bugs you. Write a column for me. Not too long but not too short either and I will put your column ahead of mine in an upcoming View. The topic of course has to be wrestling related but you may talk about any part of wrestling that you like. Oh, one more thing, no provanity please as I don’t know the ages of every Viewer. RAW.
I watched RAW the past couple of weeks and I have to say there were some pretty good parts.
DX: These guys just get better and better I think. Just when I wonder if they can pull off another ‘fun’ night watching the mayhem they create, they do just that. Make it fun. I laugh at both Hunter and Shawn weekly and, I think it’ll be sad actually when the time comes this time round for DX to fold.
CENA: Love him, hate him he’s here to stay. And I for one am glad. He’s great on the mic he gets the crowd pumping and his matches are worth watching each and everytime.
KFED?? Okay, THIS….MUST….STOP and soon. First of all, the best thing about Kevin is the fact that he’s Brittany’s husband and I don’t even like her. He does do a great job however, at being obnoxious. Unless that’s not acting. Either way, it was great watching Cena give him the FU and while I can’t stand Kevin, it’d be great to watch him get FU’d again.
Of course this week when Kevin was there he was of course, backing up to leave when Cena was coming towards him but when Big Show and Booker T showed, did you notice how much mouthier Kevin became? Yeah, the paycheck MUST be good.
Why is Kevin inside a wrestling ring anyway? The only reason I can come up with his that Brittany won’t give him a big enough allowance.
BOOKER T AND BIG SHOW.
While I’m on the subject of these two, what do you think of them as a tag team? Now I know thats not the case right now but I was wondering wouldn’t they or would they make a good tag team? We need some more tag team partners and these two seem to be funny together. Then again, maybe that was just Monday on RAW.
I know that Big Show is on ECW and Booker on Smack Down but hey, since Vince owns all the shows (sav TNA) it’s not like he couldn’t bump one of them to the other show. Just a thought.

I heard through the grapevine that Fozzy’s video was on TNA. Could Jericho be making a comeback? Does he miss the spotlight? Probably not and, if he were to return I think he’d come back to the WWE first or at the very least, give them the first crack at Fozzy err I mean, Jericho
HUNTER LOSES?
Now I sure didn’t see this coming and yet, there it is. A loss for Hunter, Triple H, the Game whatever you call him. And losing to Orton of all people!!! As my Godson would say, That’s just wrong.
But it wasn’t a bad match at all because Hunter was in it and we all know I love Hunter. You do right?
MICKEY JAMES
I’ll be honest. I fell asleep for about ten minutes and this must have been when this match took place because when RAW was over, I wondered where the diva match was. Hey, at least I’m an honest writer. Also, I’m happy Mickey won. Why??
MELINA
I can’t stand her. I don’t think she’s good in the ring as much as she does. I don’t think she’s pretty and frankly, her personality could use a re-vamp of sorts. Just something about her rubs me the wrong way and so, I am happy that Mickey won.
KENNY
Is Kenny of the Spirit Squad fame saying adios to the boys? I wish we ALL could frankly.
I can’t stand them. Well, I think as wrestlers go they’re all pretty good however the gimmick stinks. I hope this is the beginning of the end for the Squad. Although Kenny DID do something right. He beat Flair and for that I say Whoooo
SMACK DOWN
CHAVO WINS?
Who thought this up? So does this mean Rey’s coming to Smack Down? Does this mean Chavo is the better wrestler? Oh No, I don’t think he is at all.
I just think this storyline needs to die. Frankly, I think it’s tasteless and I don’t think Eddy would be really happy about the entire thing but that’s my View so give m yours.
UT BEATS UP GREG.
I saw this and it put a smile on my face. Greg is telling everyone that he’ll fight anyone and can and well, Undertaker put him to shame which is a good thing. Humility can be a good thing and we all need it at times. But Helms is really conceited anymore and I’ve tired of him. Its time the title goes to someone else.
Another thing why is the WWE saying that Gregory Helms has held the belt longer than anyone else? He has not. What about Moolah holding it for over twenty years and Hogan held a title for four years. Sure, Greg still has the belt but get the history right because it’s pretty sad when the FANS know more about the history of titles than the federation does.
One more thing while I’m on this subject. Why does Greg NEVER defend the belt other than house shows? Whatsupwitdat? Seriously, it’s time he defend it and on a PPV or a Smack Down where people can SEE it. Not just a house show where only the people that paid to go can see it. Now I’ve bored myself with this because well, Helms is boring
BOOKER AND BATISTA
The King VS the animal and the match ends in a DQ. Well, at least Batista is back and I can picture that belt around Batista sooner than you think. At least I’m hoping so. But don’t get me wrong. I like Booker T. He’s a good wrestler but everyone I think is ready for the Animal.

I sure did. I voted for Booker to have to defend the title. Yes, it’s true I love Cena but he’s defended his enough for now. I think it’s Booker’s turn.

Well, for one thing, TNA chose not to use Jeff unlike the WWE who knew that Jeff was a very popular wrestler, especially with the ladies. The WWE was willing to use him, and let’s face it, if you were in TNA and knew you wouldn’t have a shot at the title and WWE was saying “come back to us, we’ll give you title shots at the IC title” wouldn’t YOU run as fast as you could to the WWE? I sure as heck would.

Jeff Hardy is very entertaining, but, to me, is not World Champion material. Of course, neither was Rey Mysterio. As for settling, I don’t see it this way. Being IC champ for WWE is much more impressive than being world champion for the minor leagues. As for being shot down, TNA doesn’t seem to have a grasp of “broadening” their horizons, ala WCW in the early and the latter years.

The one & only reason Jeff Hardy didn’t make it in TNA was Jeff. He didn’t show up for at least two PPV’s that I can recall, & he was late most of the rest of the time. TNA gave him a lot of chances, but how can you put a belt on someone if you can’t even count on them to show up for PPV’s?
