Annie’s View (July 28th)

Friday, July 28th, 2006

Hello Viewers. Welcome to another Annie’s View. I have been hearing a lot from you, the Viewers and I just want to say Thank You so much for that. Also, I want to thank everyone that has taken time to visit my website and say hello and, for voting on who should be the next Diva and Superstar to grace my Website.

There is still time for your vote if you haven’t voted and, did I mention that you can vote as often as you like? I didn’t? Well, now you know so please email me and give me YOUR View as to who should be there that well, just isn’t.

Before I go any further at all we here at Annie’s View (Yes, there is a we) want to wish Triple H and Stephanie congratulations on their brand new baby girl, Aurora Rose. I hear Mother and baby are doing fine and that Grandpa is extremely happy. Congratulations to Vince and Linda as well as this I believe makes for their third Grandchild.

Oh just in case your wondering who the we is in Annie’s View, it’s my web-mistress, Charity. Now you know so lets get started with another View.

FOLEY
Attention to Mic Foley, I love you Hon but you really need to cut your hair. Your starting to look a lot like the cowardly lion without teeth. Your promos are still pretty good but what happened to the fun stuff? Although, I am NOT a Flair fan (or should that be fan of Flairs)? In any case, I don’t like Ric Flair and so that is one reason I do love your promos. I didn’t like the names Rick called you in his book but then again, I still think the wrestling books are written to tick off the fans.

JOHN CENA
As a member of his chain gang, Cena’s promo was the BEST all night long. It was hilarious and I don’t think he forgot anybody did he? Just too funny as only Cena can be. Also, his match was great too. Then again, have I mentioned that I’m in his chain gang? I have? Okay then, moving on….

HBK

Show stopper, sexy boy, boy toy, moron, you pick it and he can deliver it. Shawn can be crass, loud, funny, cute and sexy. Usually all within five minutes. He’s also a great wrestler.

Monday night he cracked me up saying that he thought Hunter had an inside track on who the Father of Stephanie’s baby was. I dunno. That look when he said it left me in stitches.

PAUL HEYMAN

What are they doing to this guy? Okay, I know that Triple H, Stephanie and Vince really don’t like Heyman but why was he kissing Dreamer? Do you have any Views on that? If you do, I’d love to hear them.

DRUGS IN THE WWE. (ANNIE TALKING SERIOUSLY)

Aren’t they everywhere? Seriously, didn’t some guy that won the Tour De France just get nailed for using too much Testosterone and some other drug? Hopefully, it’s not true as they’re actually going to take the title win away from him if it’s true. Unlike when Armstrong was accused)

However, a drug when used wrong or at the wrong time is a dangerous thing.

As most of you know, I’m a Medical Asst so I know a little bit about the human body. And, while the liver continues to rejuvenate itself, you can actually kill it and die which, I’m sure all of you know. Howver, when it becomes infected as it’s starting to look like whats happening in the WWE, one can only speculate.

The first thing people think of are ‘oh he/she must be on some kind of steroid.’ And of course that is always possible.

However, you have to consider Hepatitis A, B, or even C. You can catch two of these through blood. And what do wrestlers do? That is right, they bleed.

A lot of wrestler fans love to watch Flair, Orton, Cena and others constantly cut themselves. They take huge amounts of aspirin so the blood will thin and flow nice and fast. So many fans love this.

Not me.

This is why. Hepatitis. You CAN catch this. Why wasn’t it Undertaker who fought a match with Randy’s Dad, who, has Hepatitis and bled all over the place? Yep, thats right. Undertaker also had a fit and had every right to do so once he found out.

Orton’s Dad, has been in the ring with Kennedy, Batista, Piper and the late, Eddy Guerrero not sure if he bladed at all then, but still, it’s just a thought.

The other reason I hate blading is really simple. Flair. No No, don’t go yelling ‘Annie you really do hate Flair.’ No, look at Flair. He’s a very handsome man. Have you seen the scars all over his head from his blading? It’s not just Flair as you know. Hunter’s forehead isn’t as attractive as it once was. John Cena is starting it now as well along with Big Show.

Of course this is my View but I’d love to know yours so please, send it to me.

THE LAST THING I WILL COMMENT ON THIS COLUMN.

And it will be the Question of the Week as well.

I have been watching all the Superstars for lack of a better word. And I have heard that Matt Hardy is taking some time off. We all know that Benoit is taking some much NEEDED time off to be with his wife and to just rest. The grueling schedule in a wrestlers life is just that, grueling. Why, even Chris Jericho has no plans of returning to the ring which saddens me but I am however, happy for him as he’s making a really nice life outside the ring with his wife and his two new twins!!!.

Then, you have people like Angle who, while may be returning next week was suspended for thirty days and unlike RVD’s suspention, WWE is keeping this one very hush hush.

Now some like Kid Kash have been let go due to personality conflicts and others like Khali, Masters and such, have failed drug tests.

This all leads me to Who really will be the next Hogan/Hart/Michaels or Austin?

Kidman was in a dark match but wore a mask last week so even if he does come back while we’ll all know who he is, we won’t be seeing Kidman (Know what I’m saying)? But rather, some knew gimmick that we don’t know.

Ken Kennedy is another possibility and of course there is Jamie Noble, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. The list goes on and on.

So my Question of the Week is WHO DO YOU THINK SHOULD BE THE NEXT SUPERSTAR?

Last Week’s Question of the Week was :This week’s Question of the Week : Do YOU THINK RVD’S PUNISHMENT WAS RIGHT? Here are some of your answers.

A good friend, Kevin wrote this:
As far as RVD and Sabu getting fired or should they have the answer is no, but the right decision was made. Suspending RVD was the right thing to do, I know and realize that alot of wrestlers smoke pot, but this was the WWE champion. He should be representing the companyand to me he didn’t. He has to set the tone and if he wants to smoke, do it in hotel room and not inside of a car, while driving.

Ron wrote this:I Think RVD got what he deserved, working so hard to be a champion then doing something totally stupid as to be busted with pot.Not only is it illegal but had it on him when driving.Sabu should have got a suspension as well in my opinion.

Jeff was short and sweet but like always to the point with this: yeah…serves ‘em right for getting caught…lmao

Steve wrote this:
Yes!! RVD was in possession of illegal narcotics. I am not sure how much 18 grams are, but I know there is the cut off between possession and possession with the intent to sell. Yes, Sabu was in the same vehicle, but was not in possession of the illegal narcotics. I know the initial reports I read said both had pills on them, but only RVDs were explained as prescription Vicotin. I do not know if Sabu’s were prescription or not. Also, it was reported that Sabu had drug paraphernalia (a pipe from what I have read) on him, he was not in possession of narcotics, thus not violating WWE policy, so, his cursory punishment of $1,000 is just. Van Dam’s 30 day suspension without pay, is in accordance with the WWE Wellness policy, and thus, like Sabu’s is just. Depending on how the legal aspects work out, Van Dam could be facing more severe penalties, so what WWE does to him, could become the least of his concerns. One thing for sure, in my opinion, Van Dam needs to make a choice, weed or WWE. I know he has TNA to fall back on, but that is such a step backward into a poorly run, under financed company.

And Genwon wrote me about SNME and said:
It’s a safe bet to say that there will not be another Saturday Night’s
Main Event in the near future. Officials considered the previous one a huge
disappointment with the show only getting a 3.1 broadcast rating. Well if
that was bad, last Saturday’s show was even worse. The show only got a 2.7
in the overnight ratings and finished last among all networks. Simply put,
NBC and anything WWE produces (see XFL) don’t go well combined. Final rating should be out sometime this week. (Ratings compiled by Nielsen Media
Research and put online by PWInsider.com)

So there you have it. My Views, Your Views and a new Question of the Week. Remember to vote for the Superstar and Diva for my page and remember to be good or be like me, really good doing it.
