Hello Viewers and welcome to another one of your Views.

Before I start I want to wish any of you out there reading this that are Mommies, a wonderful Happy Mother’s Day. I hope you get flowers, dinner out, a card and whatever else you deserve. To those Viewers that are reading this that have a Mommy, I hope you bought her something nice or made her something wonderful. Remember, Nobody loves you like your Mom.

I hope life has been treating you well. I have been really busy with a project at home and so, wrestling has been put on the back burner. Then, I logged on and read some stuff about wrestling and of course, I did watch RAW so here I am. With another View, YOUR Views from the Question of the Week which was a while ago and I’ll make you happy by making this View short.

MARK HENRY.

I would like to ask Vince one question. Okay that is a lie. I’d like to ask him several, why he’s republican, why he screwed Bret but right now I’ll settle for why in the heck did Mark Heny get $1,000,000 dollars a year? More importantly, why would Mark stay after Vince knocked it down to a mere $300,000 a year?

I don’t even think Heny is good much less deserving of this much cash. I’m sure it could go to other superstars (Ones that are NOT married to his daughter) but to worthy wrestlers. Of course for all your Henry fans, I apologize for not liking him the way you do. But while I’m having a hate affair with wrestlers Vince STILL has on his roster…..

VISERA!!!! I know I spelled that wrong and frankly, I really don’t care. Why is he there? A sex symbol? For whom? I don’t even think that Martin Lawrence’s alter, Momma would be interested in Visera (You know, if Martin were an actual girl). The man is frightening looking I think. I think he should have been in See No Evil….. And speaking of that…

What is with KANE! Are we to believe he’s afraid of his own movie? No? Then what is this for? Just so we all remember to pack the box office and go see another remake of a movie that has already been done? I love Kane and I do think if they stick to the original (what else could they do)? They can make this work. But for a date to actually scare Kane gets me. Now if Kane really HAD a date, shouldn’t SHE be the one screaming in the aisle? Just my View but please, give me yours.

KIDMAN So, how many of you read his interview on why he was canned? Gee, I’m wondering if Vince really does treat any of his Superstars like, well, Superstars. (I don’t count Hunter). It boggles the mind how cheap the rich truly can be when it comes to their employees.

If this weren’t true, why wouldn’t Kidman still be wrestling with the WWE? I think he did raise his hand, I think he DID point out the obvious to the idiots and I think he got a paycheck AND a pink slip for his troubles. Why Cena, Angle and Eddy didn’t? Because Kidman started it and of course to put it all to a stop, Kidman was made as the example.

Vince charges out of this world prices now for seating at an event, ANY event, and yet, the wrestlers can’t even fly business class?

FOLEY TURNED HEEL. Okay, how many of you saw this and said ‘And?? Well, I liked it but you know, I just wish he’d done it with someone other than Edge. Probably because I can’t stand Edge and I haven’t liked him since he stopped being a Vampire. I know, all the Edgeheads will hate me now again, I’m sorry. This is just how I feel. I guess he and Lita have just really gotten under my skin so I’m no longer pleased with either of them.

THE WOMEN’S TITLE. Wow. Just when you thought that the Women’s Division couldn’t get any dumber it does. Hooray for Maria though showing off the fact that she has actually been learning something other than batting those huge eyes and Cena and anyone else. Yet, I still miss Keibler. Oh yeah, I know not much of a wrestler there either but I did like her. And what is this thing with Victoria shoving her tongue down Candice’s throat? Thats well, eeewww. But the guys love it so there you have an answer.

I should say something good shouldn’t I? Oh okay, didn’t John Cena and Hunter make you laugh? They did me. I loved it. Did you notice that even Hunter almost lost it with Cena being well, Cena? It was comedy and a what? Twenty minute broo haha that didn’t bore me to tears.

ONE MORE THING AND IT’S LONG OVERDUE.

JOEY STYLES ROCKS.

I absolutely loved everything he said to the King and to the fans. I thought that what he wrote was well thought out, well written and the best thing of all, he pulled it off like it was nothing. Unlike Coach who always seems to be trying to get everyone to like him, Styles managed to get everyone to like him by not even trying. The chants were great, the wording perfect and the put down about Vince Phenomenal. (Okay, so I don’t like Vince anyway but)….

KUDOS to Vince for not only reading but allowing Joey to say all of these things about him. It made for good TV (at least I thought so and for a great way to kick off ECW which…..

BETTER HAVE PAUL HEYMAN Otherwise, it won’t matter one little bit just how good the show tries to be because it just won’t be good. Not without the genius that is ECW, Paul Heyman.

Vince can claim to be the richest in wrestling. He can claim to have the best body for a sixty year old (he really does) But what he cannot claim is the fact that he is the best writer. Because he simply is NOT. That goes to Paul and to Paul FN Heyman alone!!!!!

The man may not be able to balance a checkbook to save his life (too bad too) but he knows how to weave a story like nobody else.

I welcome ECW, Paul Heyman and of course Joey Styles into my living room where I’ll be sitting, cheering and praying for the decent story lines that Vince has forgotten how to write.

YOUR VIEWS. Here are the answers you gave me from the last Question of the Week which was: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE WWE? Here they are.

From a new Viewer, Jessica who wrote: lol Annie! I so agree with you. I seriously doubt the WWE will last much longer. I give it five year tops. SD! is stinking most of the time IMO and RAW is getting so darned boring and sad. They spend time on that stupid storyline instead of real wrestling. It is sad.

Tom wrote this and it’s long so get something to eat: Sorry I didn’t answer your question earlier, Annie. I am NOT happy with WWE these days. I think a man who once obviously had good business sense and was at least a halfway decent booker has taken leave of his mind. I find lots of what he does to be distasteful to say the least, and even if not offended by most of his product, I’m NOT entertained and each week I seem to getting less and less of what I love about Pro Wrestling from his product.

As for his shows, since Boogeyman has been out I’ve enjoyed Smackdown better than RAW. That’s because Smackdown has slightly more wrestling and also has not had any members of the McMahon family present lately. That’s ALWAYS a plus!

Now you didn’t ask, but I want to comment on TNA. I was very unhappy with their last Impact show, and the fact that the ratings were way down seems to suggest I’m not alone. That first Thursday night show seemed to suggest they were getting the right idea. But the last one could not hold on to the UFC audience they very much need. Why? Well I’ll give you one example. If you want to keep that audience, you DO NOT start out your show with acts like Team Canada. It won’t work. They need a more current and somewhat cutting edge style like the first Thursday show. That match between Joe and Daniels worked. UFC fans stayed on for it, and the more old school fans enjoyed it as well. It was a kick ass action packed match.

TNA is not WWE. They cannot afford to make mistake after mistake or else they just won’t be around anymore. That would be a true shame and a great loss for us.

Sorry I got nothing for ya as far as responses to anything. I haven’t watched any wrestling at all in I don’t know how long. It’s always the same boring shit. Richard wrote this and I thank him for his kind words: Hey Annie, I just wanted to write you a line and let you know that your most recent column was in my humble opinion your best yet. I cringe when I think about what Vinnie Mac has done to pro wrestling and as the late great Gordon Solie use to say “wrestling” is what is on the marquee. The way he has misused the women wrestlers is just shameful and what about the ones he has let go. With all the money he has in his bank account it looks like he could produce a better product. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have anybody with deep enough pockets to challenge him. I definitelt miss the “old days” when it comes to wrestling. Keep up the good work. A fan.

Instead, I go to NECW shows for live action, buy lots of old stuff on DVD and thank God for TNA on SPIKE TV… Speaking of divas (well, you were talking about WWE divas in your column) I hear Dawn Marie is thinking about signing a TNA contract. Then, you could have Gail vs Jackie vs Dawn vs Christy. CAT FIGHT!!!!!!! I thank Vince for being an idiot and letting all his best divas go.

Just when I thought Pig here was going to get the favorite answer spot, a guy named Chris takes it from him with these words:

Admittedly Vince really needs to find another angle (other than “The Church Thing”) for his “war” with Shawn Micheals. I do agree that “McMahonism” is as rediculous as him being the coverboy for Muscle and Fitness magazine.But, to say that the Jeff Jarrett brand (Total Neurotic Assholes = TNA) is a better product than WWE is like saying that GOD will actually tag team with Shawn Micheals at Backlash, ludicrous!

All TNA has going for it is “The X-Division”. Aside from that all TNA has done was re-awaken people to the fact that it is utilizing stories that have already happened in WWE and WcW (for example the stalking angle by James Mitchell and Abyss before Lockdown (See the war between DDP and The Undertaker for further reference)). As for the WWE disintegrating as a product: FAT CHANCE! WWE has more “irons in the fire” than just it’s wrestling product, hence the need for the E in WWE (Entertainment Fool). Whatever the story-lines for certain characters is WWE is going to be strong because of the characters that have become household names to millions of fans, not because of what Vince does or does not do!

As for Mr. Hardy, CONGRATS TO HIM FOR TURNING DOWN TNA! TNA is a company that can ill-afford to hire talent of Hardy’s abilities and Name! This is because basically TNA is not signing the checks to MAJOR SUPERSTARS…PANDA CORPORATION, LLC IS! Panda has POURED MONEY into TNA since it acquired 79% of the company several years ago to no avail. Thier product barely draws ratings (even though it has a great spot on SPIKE TV), therefore it is not even on the same par as WWE. For further reference on this ask yourself why they can pay Sting (a severely aged wrestler) and Scott Stiener (no talent hack) over and above what thier own Home-Grown Stars get and not afford to pay Goldberg “even money” to appear at Lockdown!

As for what I think of WWE….I think it should acquire TNA, fire the dead weight (Jarrett, Stiener, Sting, Monty Brown, Abyss, Alex Shelly, ect.), send what viable talent TNA has to OVW for more training, and shelve the TNA name brand permanently (no, please do not even give it the status of ECW, for TNA has no weight). I feel that both Smackdown! and RAW need an overhaul! Yes, better writers (get Stephanie McMahon and Preperation H out of the loop altogether). Get Mr. McMahon OFF TV! Get a NEW GM FOR RAW! Stop making “new faces” look like retards (Great Kali and Jamal (formerly of Three Minute Warning)). Put a quick halt to any further Diva Searches (a total WASTE OF TV TIME for obvious purposes of showing Tits-and-Ass on TV)! And further develope and acquire more talent from outside of the company!

On a side note:

If TNA does not start to get ratings and do more travelling I can see Vince gobbling it up the same way he did ECW and WcW (not to mention the way he single-handedly put so many territorial wrestling organizations out of business in the early eightties).
