Hello Viewers,

Wow. Another Summerslam is here and I can’t believe it. I love Summerslam but I’m not sure I’m going to get it. However, I will give you the short version and I do mean short version of my choices for the card.

It has just been one of those days with baby-sitting, cars breaking down, running here and there, phones ringing off the hooks and celebrating birthdays (and that was today) So I really will make this brief. Which for me, should be interesting. LOL. Lets get started.

HULK HOGAN AND HBK

This match should be the best on the card. Well, I love Hogan and after what HBK did to Bret both on Survivor Series and of course, last week, that just added fuel to my already burning fire to toss Michael’s on his cute little can.

However, both men have egos the size of Canada so the match should be interesting if nothing else just to see who wins it.

Who do I WANT to win? Hogan

Who do I THINK will win? HBK.

JOHN CENA VS JERICHO

Everyone that wasn’t under a rock last week knows that Jericho is taking time off. Whether he’s coming BACK or not is really the bigger question. I am just not sure if he will return.

So, with that looming over the match. I look for John Cena to take the match.

BATISTA VS JBL.

Let’s get it straight. Batista is HUGE and so is JBL. However, which one is meaner? Well, they don’t call Batista the Animal for nothing.

With Batista owning the belt right now, it may be a good thing if Batista drops it. That way, they can do something with Batista as it seems Vince isn’t very happy with Batista. Maybe it’s because he put Batista on the show that’s not doing too well and it still isn’t. That’ is not, however, Batista’s fault.

It’s not fair that Batista carry the entire load of Smack Down. Okay, so Benoit and Christian went as well. But they can’t do it either. The only thing that was really keeping people watching, was the fact that they love Cena. When he was moved to RAW, the viewers stayed there.

Who do I THINK will win? JBL

Who do I WANT to win? Batista.

UNDERTAKER VS RANDY ORTON

They say that Orton is the Legend killer. If he kills Undertaker then I don’t expect him back….EVER.

I don’t see that happening yet but you know as well as I do, the day is coming where Undertaker is going to hang up his boots. But, is the time now? Oh bother.

I don’t think so.

Who do I THINK will win? Undertaker

Who do I WANT to win? UT

EUGENE VS ANGLE.

This would be the time that I went to make a sandwich, call a friend, or weed the garden. I don’t care who wins this match as neither are my favorites. I’m sick of Eugene’s forest gumpy ness (for lack of a better made up word) and Angle won’t grow hair and I’m tired of the entire You Suck chants that go with him.

I will say of the two men though, Eugene is far more entertaining on the mic but let’s face it, Angle is the better wrestler.

Who do I THINK will win? Angle

Who do I WANT to win? I honestly don’t care.

REY VS EDDY.

This match or the reason behind it ticks me off on so many different levels that I haven’t watched Smack Down since it really started. As soon as I heard Eddy say something about a secret that he was keeping, I knew Rey wasn’t the Father of that poor child that’s actually being used.

How either of these two can find this a ‘good’ story line is beyond me. I don’t like the use of kids being played this way. As one Viewer wrote to me and said ‘It was one thing if it would be Shane or Stephanie as they’re older, but for this little boy, I don’t think it’s right and it sickens me.’ I too agree.

Who do I THINK will win? REY

Who do I WANT to win? The Audience so that this entire nightmare goes away.

ORLANDO JORDAN VS BENOIT.

Benoit BETTER win. I’m so tired of his being a mid-carder. When will Vince get a clue that it’s time for Jericho, Benoit and a few others to have a belt around their waists?? I’m beginning to think Vince hates Canadians as much as Canadians hate HBK.

Well, anything else? Oh yes, Trish should be returning with Leyla to start a feud for the new Diva. Welcome back Trish you have been missed. And the rest of the Divas other than Lita and Victoria can just go away. Bring back the real female wrestlers. Maybe then, more will care. And please, give Christy something else to wear besides a cheerleading uniform!!
