Annie’s View (March 23rd)

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2004

Hello Viewers.

Well, here I am again. I know your just shocked aren’t you? Me too. Last week I was just so swamped. I had sooo much stuff to do that was normal stuff. You know, hubby, house, cleaning. Then, I received a call and my neighbor joined my gym. (That’s right, it’s my gym) HAHA. Seriously, she asked for a tour and then asked me if I wanted to start going with her. Well, of course my answer was a resounding Yes!. So now, every other day I’m off to the gym. Now the only drawback is that we can’t go until at least ten PM. She works and has school, and I have what you read above, plus I baby-sit and I have all my hobbies. So ten it is. I haven’t even really been opening my mail. Why I just found out that my e-daughter is getting married in June. A Mom needs to know these things first.

Better start the shilling I guess as Mike would call it so I can then go onto the column. The ringpost. That should be enough right there don’t you think? Rawfeedonline.com is up, has a new look and it’s great.

Of course there is Kelly’s newsletter. All girls all the time. amazon_wrestling_views-subscribe@topica.com and it will magically appear!

Now before I start on this week’s RAW I was thrilled by Vince and everything he said last week about the draft. That he’s been listening to us and he knows we actually want wrestling and not all the stuff we’ve been getting. Will we get that? That’s what tonight’s draft was all about. I could have sworn though that Vince said twelve from each show though not six. I guess I misunderstood that but am I the only one? Probably. If not, I’d like to know. Wait, this just in. An IM from a Viewer saying the exact same thing I just said. I guess I wasn’t the only one. If anyone else thought like I did, please let me know

One more thing. I messed up in my last column (I know, I’m shocked as well) and said that Chavo lost the belt when in fact, he retained it. Sorry about that Viewers.

Now onto RAW is Smack Down. That’s what it seemed like to me anyway. This is NOT a bad thing. I think Smack Down is the better of the two shows. It has a lot of the real talent on it. But then again, RAW has it’s share and it does have the Women’s title. So I suppose that’s a good thing right?

Did you see any surprises? You know, I really didn’t. I thought that Hunter would be moved to Smack Down because that’s the show that Stephanie is usually on. And, since Heyman quit tonight (gee, that was predictable as well) watch for Stephanie to return as the GM.

Is Paul Heyman gone from the front lines for long? I hope not. I think he’s clever and comical and we need someone like that. He makes me laugh. How about you?

Smack Down took Renee Dupree breaking up two of the three French’s mustard guys which I loved. They also broke up another team by taking Jindrak from his partner as well.

Now am I the ONLY one that realized as soon as Booker T AND RVD lost tonight that one of them was heading for Smack Down? I didn’t think so.

Giving the belts to Flair and Batista though? Please…..

I have news for Heyman though, getting Spike Dudley would and is a good thing. Especially since Smack Down has most of the cruiserweights. I mean, it’s a much better place for someone smaller like Spike. And while I’m on the subject of Spike…..

Don’t you think Viewers that Spike’s better off on Smack Down since he always loses on RAW? He lost last week, this week, he loses more often than not.

Teddy Long? Hmm, interesting choice.

Now RAW walked away with Shelton Brown. He’s pretty good actually. They also got Nidia which will be interesting for the Women’s title. And, the men should like that. I’m sure all the male Viewers loved how she welcomed herself on RAW.

Rhyno!!! WhooHooo. I just love this guy. Have you looked at the thighs on him? Oh stop. I just mean well, he’s fabulous. What a name too. Rhyno. It actually fits him.

Tajiri. Now here is a fabulous wrestler and I’m sure the Smack Down roster will miss this guy. He’s just really great but now he gets to work with some others and thus should prove to be as entertaining there as he was on Smack Down.

EDGE!! Oh man has it be a long time since we’ve seen Edge. And tonight did you hear the pops for him? He’s been missed. He looks great though doesn’t he? And he speared Eric. Who could ask for more?

Last but not least, Heyman was picked by Eric for RAW which is why Heyman quit. Now there is something I was wondering though. If Heyman did, in fact, quit then shouldn’t Eric get to choose again? See, I think he should. What do you Viewers think?

As far as matches went. Hunters match was really good with Eddie. I kept praying please don’t let Hunter get the title already. And my prayers were answered. While I’m on the subject of Hunter…

Doesn’t he look really good in Smack Down blue as opposed to RAW red? Man I sure thought he did. But that’s me.

Cena cracked me up tonight but he always does. Just too funny all the time.

Last but not least the end of the show looked like a bra and panties sale at the Victoria’s Secret I worked at. Holy Cow bodies everywhere!! Man it was like having another Royal Rumble but this time in March. I love stuff like that.

Where was UT? Interesting I thought. I mean, I thought everyone was to show.

Kane said he didn’t care which show he was on as long as he wasn’t on the same show as Undertaker. Doesn’t that mean he actually DOES care which show he’s on? He got his prayers answered too.

Well, all in all, a good albeit predictable show considering it was a draft show. Still good though. Now, lets just hope that the matches are even better.

Question from last week remains: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF BROCK’S LEAVING?

Until next time, be good or be like me, really good doing it.
