Annie’s View (Dec 25th)
Thursday, December 25th, 2003Hello Viewers!
How was Christmas? I hope that Santa brought you everything your little harts desired! I haven’t seen everyone yet so I’m not sure what all is waiting for me yet under trees. But if your done, I do hope you got something you really wanted. Several something’s.
Did you all see Smack Down from Baghdad? I thought it was great. I just think this is the best wrestling show on now. Too bad for RAW since it really IS my favorite and yet, I’m finding that Smack Down more and more is the better show.
The best sign all night long was Torrie Wilson, who’s your Baghdaddy? I thought that was really original.
It was great seeing all the men and women of the armed forces just having a really good time there for once. When those planes flew over though, you just couldn’t forget that something bad might have happened to all there. It was scarier still to listen to the troops tell the wrestlers what to do in case of sniper fire and motar attacks. It puts a lot of things into prospective when hearing something like that knowing people are dying for this country.
My hats really off to each person over there missing out on their families and friends. Defending each and every one of us and America’s beliefs. I love them all.
It was good No, great watching Stone Cold stun Vince. That’s always good though. I was surprised to see Vince there. Wasn’t sure he’d actually go over to Iraq. But he did so I give him Kudos for that.
Cena’s rap was excellent as usual and his match with Big Show was good. I can’t believe he can actually F. U. Big Show. Hats off to him
Hey, Stone Cold trying to get Benoit and Eddie ticked off at each other. I mean, doesn’t he already know that there really isn’t a love loss between them. Perhaps someone should clue him in.
Rikishi VS Rhyno was not a long match but it was still good I thought. Then again, I love Rhyno and Rikishi after winning chose two of the women in the audience to dance with him. Now that was great.
I still think Benoit should have won this match with Eddie but what can I say? I did admire the fact that both men hugged at the end. The match was excellent but what do you expect with Benoit in the match? Exactly. Eddie may not be my favorite wrestler but I have to tell you I admire his skills.
I’m sure all the guys loved the divas or what I liked to call the Ho Ho Ho match. Hey, it’s Christmas nothing dirty here.
Dressed like Santa’s helpers out they came strutting their stuff as only they can. I did wonder though why Sable didn’t remove as much outer wear from her body as Torrie and Dawn Marie did. Torrie fixed that though after she was jumped by the other two for winning the contest (Who else would have won as her push is still strong) and Torrie pulled off some of what Sable still had on.
The APA beat the newest and greatest tag team. That HAD to happen. I mean, did you hear the crowd cheering for APA? Who else could have won??
The end of the show was really great as Stone Cold came out and stunned both John Cena and Big Show which stunned me. (Well, somewhat)
Then he called for all the wrestlers (And Vince) to come out to the ring where he thanked all the troops there (Over 5,000) for being there instead of home with their families where they all wanted and should have been.
A great and moving Smack Down and my hats off to Vince and the others at the WWE for actually being able to pull this together. I guess that Bradshaw is going to stay there for a bit as well. Good for him.
A great show and I hope none of my Viewers missed it.
Question of the Week remains the same which is:
If you could get one thing from Santa for the WWE, what would you want?
That’s it for another View. Stay tuned for my Year End edition which YOUR Views will be needed for it to be well, worth sending out.
Until next time (Which should be a few days) be good or be like me, really good doing it.
