Hello Viewers!!!!!

I’m back and as you can see by my NEWEST and the best looking banner in years well, you know why.
BRET HART is back and albeit for just a short time, I, his biggest fan (and no boys that doesn’t mean his fattest) have to write a column.

I was so excited to hear he’d returned. Yes, can you believe it? I missed the first Hart apperance? of course I have good reasons and we’ll just leave them at that. But I did manage to tape everything else WWE related and watched his entrance again and again and well, you get the picture.

So this past Monday I sat glued to my seat so not to miss him yet again.

But of course I must talk about everything else (although for me, nothing else was as good) but I digress…

First of all, William Shatner as the guest. Actually, I found him to be one of the better guests. He was pretty funny and pulled off a lot of gags quite well. To most people he’ll always be Captain but to me he’ll always be Denny Craine.

Aww don’t worry. He’s Mr. Wrestlemania as we all know. But wow, what blows and all evening long. Didn’t get the elimination chamber and went straight into Orton’s arms (EWWWW) Of all the people on the roster to lose to, I’d rather lose to Hornswaggle. And before that he lost in the last man standing. Oh but he’ll be back on his feet in no time. Why, WM is right around the corner. Not a huge Michael’s fan but this actually was pretty good….Speaking of good.

Everyone wants to kill the umpire but wow, to get a referee like Big Show did. That’s gonna leave a mark. The match wasn’t bad but then again, it wasn’t the best of the night.

The diva’s are well, not my favorite but I still love Mickey James. I don’t like what they’re doing or saying about her right now and while I realize that this IS just a storyline I also realize that Vince is an idiot because so many young girls aspire to become just like the divas. They’re picking on Mickey James in this fashion begs me to ask the question WHY? When your probably better than any of them combined.

Okay that’s it for me. Oh No, I didn’t forget. What I meant was that I’ve had enough of the actual show and am now moving on to the reason I STILL can’t stand Vince McMahon. I’m already receiving letters about what he did to Bret Hart last week and last month. This is going to be good that’s all I have to say about that. Well, maybe not. But still, I just can’t wait till Bret gets even and oh you know it’s gonna happen.

What the heck was Batista doing there anyway? Is he on RAW now or did Vince once again become the scared little child we all know that he is and just asked Batista to come on the show. Also, what’s Batista done to himself? He used to have a nice looking body and now it’s covered in so many tattoos. Who does he think he is, Undertaker? News for Batista, grow some hair, stop with the tattoos your just never going to be the Undertaker. Come to think of it, your just never going to be Bret Hart either so why are you messing with him? LOL

I am happy to see Bret back in the ring and the WWE ring as well. Maybe Vince heard that loud popping sound. You know the sound you hear when you bend over and put one hand on either knee and pull and viola, your head comes out of your A$$. Yes, that’s the popping sound I’m talking about. Maybe Shawn Michael’s has been reading the Bible to Vince (that would be a miracle in itself) and Vince realized the error of his ways. Oh wait, No, because he actually spit in Bret’s face. Ha!! Bet he’s been waiting twelve years to do that. Guess what Vince, unlike Bret, YOU deserved it. But I’m not biased….MUCH.

Yes, Viewers, Bret is back and until he’s gone, Annie is too.

Question of the Week: Are you happy about Bret being back and, do you think he’ll beat the stuffing out of Vince at Wrestlemania??

Hello everyone and welcome back to another View!!!!
I know it’s been a while since I wrote a View but in fairness, there hasn’t been much to write about. That is, until two weeks ago.

The WWE gets the band ZZ Top. I mean, Come on, it’s ZZ Top. I was so excited to hear they were going to be on the show. I thought to myself What are they going to perform? I was hoping for Sharped Dressed Man myself but what did we get? Yeah, Nothing much.

I was so disappointed in that show. All they did was play little bits of their songs. And with whom? Santino!!! Man the first one with cheap sunglasses was funny cause I thought that was okay. But he stayed for the entire show with them. ZZ Top doesn’t even need an opening act much less a wrestler that to me, well, stinks. Carlito is better than he is and that’s not saying a lot because I’m not a huge Carlito fan either.

Did anyone else like this? I mean, when the girls came out to She’s got legs and then the last pair we saw were Santino’s well, that was it for me really. The entire show was horrible. HORRIBLE.

Okay not the entire show. The best part was Jerry Lawler kicking the garbage out of that snotty little punk THE Brian Kendrick. I hope it continues. That’s a storyline I could actually get into.

Lawler is one of the BEST wrestlers I think. If Vince lets him wrestle the little snot, I know that Jerry will make mince meat out of him. GO JERRY!!!

Okay that was two weeks ago. Let’s talk about this past week and the PPV
I didn’t watch the PPV because well, Jerry wasn’t wrestling and neither was Bret Hart (I know I know I don’t care) But Hunter lost anyway right along with Cena. Now, imagine how mad this Hunter/Cena fan would have been had I spent the money Vince is now asking for PPV’s on this one to watch everyone I like lose?

Bad enough I watched Monday night as Hunter lost AGAIN.
I guess I should be happy with Cena finally kicking The Mid’s butt to and, I am. But that didn’t take a lot.
Where are all the storylines? Okay, let me re-phrase that. Where are all the GOOD storylines? Paul Heyman got to keep those. That’s all he got to keep sad to say but he walked away with all the ideas and Vince let him.

So what about Heyman? Where is he? Why won’t Vince hire him back to write? He should you know. What, are you telling me that Triple H hates Heyman more then he loves wrestling? I don’t think so but if he does, then shame on him.

I mean, Hunter should be able to put aside his resentment or anger or whatever they said he has against Heyman for the good of the company but what do I know? I know I’m not paying for anymore PPV’s till the storylines are better. I know that wrestling hasn’t been the same in years. I know that it’s not that I’m getting older (even though I am) it’s that wrestling isn’t really staying a priority now because it’s just the same stuff all the time. I know I’m not the only one that thinks that because I have been told by so many of you, the Viewers, that you have stopped watching wrestling. So that’s what I know Vince. I know I’d like to see you humble yourself and actually do a better job with the Monopoly that you have gotten a hold of. And I know I’m done with this column. Well, for this week anyway.

Hello Viewers,
I know, where have I been and what have I been doing? Well, I have been watching wrestling of course but I’m currently stuck on a game on facebook called, Farm Town. You can find me on Face Book btw, I’m Annie Wilkins so look me up.

TRIPLE H IS BACK and it’s about time. He needs to seriously do something to Orton. At this point in time, I simply can’t stand Orton. He’s too thin, to pukey looking, and he’s insane. Also, he’s gotten far too many tattoos and now he just looks ugly. Nope. Undertaker can carry that many tattoos and look well, like a phenom. However, Randy just looks ridiculous. Wow, did I get off the subject of Hunter or what? No, not really.
Hunter needs to really take Randy out back and well. I’ll leave it there.

DONALD TRUMP. Give me a break!!!! How stupid is this story line? It Is a storyline yes? Tell me what you all think of it. I want to know what my Viewers think.
Although, I will say that a commercial free RAW might be nice. Maybe. LOL. It just depends on how it’s done. Time will tell.

THE TEN MAN BATTLE ROYAL rocked!!! I love it when more than two guys are in a ring and this is one of the best times for me. All the men did a great job. I loved how many it took to get Big Show out of that ring. But coming down to the final three men was worth watching especially since one of my boys won!!! Go Hunter!!!!

WHO TOLD CODY AND TED THEY’RE LEGENDS? They’re Dad’s are legends. Shoot even Cody’s brother is closer to being a legend. But Cody? Ummm, no. Yes, I still love Goldust. Whoohoo!!! Did you see him with the little guy? How cute they were. But really the Miz deserved so much more then what he got.

THE ITALIAN JOB And I use that term because that’s what I think he should do. Job! When he dresses like a girl though, I must say he’s better looking. LOL. Nah, he’s just weird/funny.

THE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH wasn’t bad. Personally, I would have loved to have seen Hardy win but CM punk is better than oh I dunno, Edge!!!!

RANDY defeated Hunter and Cena at the end though. Boo!!!

And that sexy beast known as Jerry Lawler was there and in high form as always. Jerry, if your reading this I have to know who makes your awesome King shirts? I love them all.

I know this is short but I have to go visit my farm on Farm Town.

Question of the Week is On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being dumbest, how dumb is the story line about Trump buying RAW?

Seriously, why would Vince sell the ONLY show making any money? Of course maybe Vince is nuts.

Hello Viewers,
Okay, with Wrestlemania on my tail (don’t say it) I thought it would be fitting to actually write a column. But before I do my computer decided to freeze up AOL and well, I lost a ton of stuff. Things you sent and a View that I was working on. So, I’m finally back and writing so here goes.

Welcome all.
Wrestlemania is one of the BEST shows that Vince puts on. This always gets me to remembering the old WM’s but I won’t write about those…much.:D

Seriously though, who do you think is going to win? Lets see

First of all, let’s start with the big one. Okay, they’re all big at Wrestlemania. I mean Triple H and Randy.
First I am going to apologize to all the Orton fans right away and of course, I’ll understand the hate mail when I say…’What has he done to himself?’ Good grief, he used to be at least cute but now, he’s too thin, too muscular and too tattooed. He’s not the Undertaker (oh we’ll talk about that Phnom later) so he just doesn’t look right at all anymore. He looks ugly. That’s the nicest word I can think of. Okay, Unattractive how’s that? Better?

In any case, I’m hoping that Hunter is going to kick his ugly butt all over the ring and smile while doing it. Especially after what he did to Stephanie. I just can’t see Hunter losing after that can you?

Which brings me to the Phenom VS HBK.
Oh please, how angry will I be if Undertaker loses much less to this ball of fluff? Bleh. There I said it. Bleh. I know I know I don’t like HBK and with good reason. I hate snotty people. (Although calling him a ball of fluff sounds snotty doesn’t it) Well, I just don’t like him. Besides that, I hate the leg kick. His, Hulksters anyone who’s finishing move is something so dull. Nope. I’m hoping that the Undertaker puts Shawn in the casket and while I don’t wish for him to stay there I just wish for him to well, rest in peace.

Hardy VS Hardy? This is so from the 80′s with Bret and Owen. I wonder if they to have to take separate planes and not speak to each other in public. Things that make you go hmmmm.

Although this feud is one of the reasons to watch if only to see Matt get his butt kicked, it’s sad that this is once again another storyline. On the other hand, this story is one of the best stories that’s ever been in wrestling. Now let’s just hope the good guy wins!!!! (eh, that’d be Jeff for those of you fans that don’t know which Hardy to root for).

Of course there is Jericho and the three legends that Randy Orton hasn’t killed…yet.

I know I’m supposed to be for the legends….And I so am. BUT (and this is where the conundrum comes in for me, I love Jericho. Yes, I’m admitting that I should be attending the Jeriholics Anonymous classes but not only don’t I know where they are I wouldn’t go if I knew!!! Here’s why. He’s one (if only) the few (once again, or only) wrestler left from Stu’s dungeon. So many great wrestlers came out of that dungeon and sadly, not many are left. Writers, are there any left besides Jericho? If so, please email me and let me know.

This match is a win win for me because Piper is a favorite. Actually, all they really needed to sway my decision was putting Lawler in it and that would have truly made me go to the legends leaving Jericho in the dust. Good luck to all the men in this match. Say, maybe Jerry will join them? Well, a girl can dream right?

Cena VS who cares it’s CENA!!!!! My money’s on him. Oh okay I know he’s going up again Edge (puke) and Big Show (love him but he’s no match for Cena). All three men are good no make that great (okay still not an Edge fan and won’t be but as far as wrestling goes, okay, he knows how to do that. Still the only man in the ring here to give Cena any trouble will probably be Big Show but I’m still thinking Cena is going to win it if for no other reason then to make Vicky puke (Yay)

Which brings me to Vicky, who’s idea was this to whore herself for both Edge and Big Show? I mean seriously are you trying to tell me that these guys can’t get someone else? Well…..

Rey VS JBL. Okay this will be quick just like the 619. Rey’s gonna take this entire match leaving that JBL all alone with his money. And, if you listen to JBL talk, that’s all he’s really interested in anyway. So there you go. Oh yeah, Rey is my grandson’s favorite wrestler so if I said JBL would win well, I’d be in the doghouse and who wants that? Besides I think Ian’s right and Rey will win and if not, a great rematch in the future.

The Money in the bank match is an anybody can win. I’ll bet on Christian though. Then again, CM Punk looks pretty good. Say, what about Kane finally getting a shot? Okay let’s go with Kane.

As for the Diva’s to all the men I say, enjoy I don’t care as I’ll be making a sandwich or something while this match is on. Also while the lumberjack match is on as I don’t care about this either.

Hello everyone and welcome to another Annie’s View. Thanks to all of you who actually answered my QOTW. I so appreciate that. Please remember that everyone that reads my View IS part of it so, if you have a beef or a cheer about RAW, SD or any other part of wrestling. Give me an email and I’ll respond. Also, if I think what you say is really awesome, funny or just right on I’ll print it in a View. This week Charity has some things she needed to get off her chest and so I’m giving her the venue along with this column. Also, in a couple weeks look for the Cheers and Jeers column that’s annual but late this year.

John Cena. I love him. That being said what do you think about the length of time he’s been allowed to keep the belt? I love when someone has a belt (any belt) for a decent amount of time but sometimes I think that some wrestlers get to keep it a tad bit too long thus, kind of boring wrestling. The contract signing took place this week but with JBL in the mix I’m wondering who’s gonna win. What do you think?

Jericho hated? C’mon. You gotta love Chris Jericho. Don’t you? He’s one of the finest wrestlers today and frankly, he’s pretty funny. When he got down on his knees and apologized it was comical to say the least. Stephanie looked as if she wanted to just laugh and Vince well…..

Vince is back. All I can say is why? Okay, that’s a question not a statement. But my point is shouldn’t he stay away? LOL. Seriously though the way he walked out this time was the worst of any time before it. I told my husband that I can see the six months he spent away he did not go to any Urologist to get rid of that stick. I will say this about Vince though (Gotta say something good I suppose) and that’s that although a die hard Republican that he is, showing Obama’s picture at the end of the Martin Luther King short was wonderful. What a day that was for all of America. Kudos to Vince.

The girls bore me so I’m not even going to talk about them except to say why is Beth with the Italian that only has one eyebrow?

This of course saddens me. Victoria leaving? I met her, she seems so sweet but I can see why she’s going. They’ve done NOTHING with her but make her a bad jobber and she’s far better than most of the girls that actually get to win.

Rey should always win. PERIOD.

CM Punk is awesome. And I loved the way the crowd popped for him. I love Regal, I love Punk so this was tough for me but a good match to watch since I love both men.

Stone Cold is the first to go into the Hall of Fame this year. Well, the first announced anyway. I think he should be there and I love that it’s finally happening. Any ideas as to who will be next? C’mon you know you have some?

Well, on a closing note I have to say that I really don’t like SD anymore so Triple H must come back to RAW because I keep missing Smack Down. Therefore, I miss Hunter’s matches.

ONE MORE THING. I miss JR with Jerry Lawler. I love the team together although I have to say that I love Jerry and he can announce with anyone I think. I just think Jerry’s that good.

Ok, I’m sorry but this past week, a travesty occurred on ECW. Matt Hardy lost the ECW title to Jack Swagger. Now, I will admit, I am a huge Hardy fan. Matt, Jeff, give me a Hardy I’m happy. However, that being said, if Matt had lost the belt to an established wrestler, such as Mark Henry (even though I don’t like him) or Tommy Dreamer, I’d have been fine with it. They’ve been around, they’ve paid their dues. But Jack Swagger? No.

I am sick and tired of seeing newbie wrestlers getting title shots and receiving the titles. I don’t care that Jack Swagger was on his college wrestling team. I don’t care that in 2006, he signed a developmental contract with WWE and was assigned to Deep South Wrestling, then Ohio Valley Wrestling, then Florida Championship Wrestling before finally being given a WWE contract. Developmental doesn’t count. A lot of the developmental guys never make it out of there. And a lot of the guys who do make it out are in the WWE for years before receiving the coveted world title shot. Heck some of them wait years to get and IC title shot or US title shot. So don’t tell me that spending two years bouncing from DSW to OVW to FCW and then to WWE is paying his dues. It’s not.

Another fine example – Santino Marella. He just popped out of the crowd, supposedly as a fan, and won the IC title. WTH? He spent a little bit of time in OVW and then came to WWE and BAM wins a title on his first televised match out? Excuse me? Exactly WHAT are the writers who come up with this stuff thinking?

Do they think the fans are going to continually go for this stuff? That we’ll go for the whole “let’s put a title on a complete newbie who hasn’t really paid his WWE dues” thing? I don’t know about other fans, but THIS fan doesn’t go for it. Neither do some of my friends. My friends and I agree, newbies who haven’t been in the WWE for even a year yet should not be rewarded with titles.

It makes it look even MORE like it’s scripted than it would if they didn’t win them. Undefeated streaks and then win a title? WOW – We’re back in WCW! Holy cow! I thought that fed was dead – oh wait, it is. Oh, that’s right! Vince bought it. I guess he figures no one watching NOW remembers any of what WCW did, and that most of them probably don’t even know what WCW is/was. Sorry Vince, Shane, Steph, and anyone else making decisions, there are people who remember that Stephanie “bought” ECW from Paul Heyman and that Shane “bought” WCW from Ted Turner. Obviously these “purchases” were made with Daddy’s money and went under his flagship WWE.

And look where that has brought us. TNA, to me, is worthless. I can’t stand to watch them at all. WWE is getting to the point that I literally do not know how the event in Sioux City on Jan. 12, 2008 sold out. I know it was sold out because I live there! I just can’t believe that anyone still wants to view the travesty that has become the wrestling world.

This leads me to a question, which if you answer for me, I’ll post the answers in my next column – What do you think of wrestlers that haven’t even been in WWE for year getting titles?

First off, long time no talk eh? I tell ya part of the reason you have not heard from me in so long is because I kinda stopped watching wrestling for awhile. I never really watched ECW, but WCW was the greatest. That was what killed it for me, Vince should have stayed away from at least WCW. Plus the fact that this long time nWo-ite is still angry with how the nWo storyline was used in WWF. That’s right, I said wwF. Anyways. I just started to get back into some wrestling because I caught a few of the TNA shows, and plus my favorite The Undertaker is still around. That was the greatest ppv I have seen in a long time, and I think that the last Wrestlemania I actually watched when it first aired was 13. I must say I felt the opening match was way weak. Some good moves, but kinda boring. The ladder match was just awesome even though the only guy I actually knew was Jericho. Flair’s match was great too even though he lost. Though I think that he decided that. Other than that Kane winning was cool. Short, but I think that’s what makes it so cool. I’m not even going to talk about Mayweather, and I’m gonna move on to my favorite match. Undertaker vs. Edge. 16-0 ’nuff said. I actually thought that ‘Taker might lose considering how much they actually talked about the streak. Then I thought that Edge just isn’t the same calibur of star as a Mick Foley or Steve Austin. Well maybe he is, but not when fighting ‘Taker. For me the dark days will come when Undertaker, not Flair, retires. Well, that’s about all I got to say, my old wrestling days are slowly but surely coming back to me. I even bought WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW 2008 last night for my Xbox 360.

From Melly Well I for one love Shawn and could tell he hated doing what he did. But since Flair picked him and we all knew this was Flair’s retierment match for months before it happened it was no shock. I didn’t watch WM cause I can’t aford $60 bucks that I can spend on groceries. I for one loved Flair’s goodbye on Raw. Now what I hate is that I’m having to pick between two of my favorite guys since Batista is coming after Shawn. Geez wonder who I’ll pick Dave needs to mind his own business and stay on SD. I’m oh so happy Taker has that belt away from that idiot Edge. Just wish Teddy was the boss again and Vicki and that stupid storyline was over as well. I’m with you on being sick that Orton is champin. I was rooting for Hunter. I do love Cena but knew it was 1 to soon for them to give him the belt back and 2 since he’s doing a movie they wouldn’t give it to him. As far as the Diva’s I loved them all helping Maria kick Santino’s butt. That’s my girl I’m not a Beth fan so I’m crossing my fingers Mickie get’s the belt back or Ashley. I hope everyone is praying for Jeff Hardy and his girlfriend Beth. wow I can’t believe he’s suspinded and then about a week later his house goes up in flames and they loose their dog

Hello everyone!!!!
Yep, I’m finally back with another View. It’s about time. But then again, wrestling hasn’t really excited me enough to actually sit and write about it.

I hope all you Viewers still want a View but more importantly I’m hoping your all just doing great out there.

So, are you ready for Christmas? And how was Thanksgiving? I hope wonderful. I had a really nice Thanksgiving with both my church family and then, my family. It was so nice.

Anyway, back to wrestling.

Did you see RAW and Smack Down? I have to tell you that Smack Down really doesn’t do much for me but…they brought the Undertaker back and he’s always wonderful to watch. I can’t wait till this Friday when we see him once again in a steel cage match and he’s kicking Big Show all over it. Then again he’s not called the Big Show because he’s an easy guy to pin. I think this just might be one of the best SD’s for a long time.

Of course they still have Triple H and I will always think he belongs on RAW. But, then again, maybe he wanted to be on the show that works you less. Although, Hunter never seems to work less.

And what about Lawler’s new shirts with his name on them? Okay Jerry I want one but didn’t see them on WWE. If any Viewer sees them can you let me know? Jerry, if your reading this (and I know you are) where can I get one of your shirts?

Also, did you see the new layout on my page? Boy Charity really knows what she is doing I’ll tell you that. She says it’s been there for a while now but you know, between being sick and being sick of wrestling, I wasn’t going on….

And Jericho is great. I know, most people hate him but I don’t. I love him. One of the last from the dungeon and he’s really a great wrestler I think. Although, since he’s trying to kick Cena’s butt it’s gonna be a hard choice for this fan. And speaking of Cena…..

Loved that Jericho won. Hardy (Jeff that is) But too bad they didn’t really have the nice Slammy award show like they did when BRET HART was in wrestling (Yes, the year is ALMOST over and I’d be a bad Hitman fan if I didn’t mention his name.

Speaking of Hart. He’s divorced…again. Awww. You know why? Cause I’m still married. Yeppers. That’s why. Speaking of guys I love that didn’t win a Slammy…

Why didn’t Jerry the King get one? Aww He’s the best announcer they have. Well, that’s my View anyway. But I really love that guy. He cracks me up.

Charity is excited because Hardy (Jeff) took the title this weekend at the PPV. Who could blame her? He took a Slammy now a title. Why not? Who doesn’t like Jeff Hardy? Seriously, if you don’t please email me and tell me why? And speaking of Why?…..

Why does William Regal have to come out with a Diva? He needs no one at all. Just himself.

And another thing….

As much as I dislike HBK (and we all know how much that is) I dislike the storyliine that he’s broke and now works for JBL even more. What’s with that? Good grief I hope they spin this well and do a good job because I just can’t picture HBK doing anything for JBL. Actually, I don’t know which is worse, Vince McMahon and his family finding humor in the bail out that’s going on with all the American’s losing their homes and the banks not being able to keep afloat OR the fact that ONLY HBK would be a part of this stupid story.

And what’s this with Kane and Kelly Kelly? You know the initials spell K K K (shivers)

Did I mention that not only did Hardy (Jeff) win the title but he had to beat HHH to get it?

As much as I love C.M. Punk I love Rey more. It’s a shame Rey didn’t win.

Hello Viewers,
Well, there has been a lot going on since I have last written a column. It’s been a month of Sabbaths for me so I’m just going to get started with what I think are things that I liked, disliked, and just thought were dumb.

The Draft.

Well, this was interesting at least this time around. The news through the Internet was that Cena was going to Smack Down. But it turned out to be Hunter which, is smart I think. Why? I’ll tell you. Cena has already been on that show and I think (in my View) that both ECW and SD are just dying. Very slowly but dying nonetheless.

The only way to save ECW is to bring back Paul Heyman and, since Vince has much to big of an ego for that (at least so it seems), I don’t think this will happen. However, if Heyman does return, I think ECW shows would be a lot better. At least they’d be well written. Actually, there really isn’t anything or anyone on those shows that I really care about (sav Matt) and he can’t save the show by himself. (Or can he)? Let me know your Views as they’re always wanted.

JR on SD?
Now this is definitely something nobody saw coming. Do you like him there? I think it’s strange but it makes the show a little better because they have a good announcer now. Not that Cole was bad I like him but I’ll be honest, I just wasn’t watching SD and now that it’s the only way to see Hunter, Needless to say I watch it a bit more now. Sure, I still fast forward through the stupid or boring matches but to be honest, I do that with RAW as well.

THE SWERE.
Did you see it coming? On RAW? Me either which made it awesome. There, was Edge. I was wondering why he was on there. Leave him on SD with the stupid storyline involving Eddy’s wife (he must be really dying now). Batista showed which, since he’s supposed to be on that show now, was a good thing. Nailing Edge was great but the cashing in of the money in the bank by C.M. Punk was awesome. Nobody really saw that coming and if you did, good for you. Or, maybe not because that means it was just another boring wrestling show for you. As for me, it was awesome because I didn’t see it coming. Great idea.

McMahon’s Millions.

So Vince was giving away millions of dollars. Three to be exact. Too bad he had to practically stiff a couple of people to do it. That one girl that won two whole dollars and another who won sixteen. Do you think Vince hates women? Me too!!

As for what happened to Vince on RAW. Who cares? He’s off the show for a while and I for one am pleased. I wonder when Stephanie’s baby is due?

HOGAN NEWS.
Okay, I loved my Dad. No, I really did. I miss him a great deal. That being said, the idea of him rubbing my rear end with anything sickens me. You know, there comes a time in a girl’s life where she needs a boyfriend more than her Dad. This is one of those times. Brook may be a Daddy’s girl but this was just icky is the cleanest way I can put it. Revolting that’s what it is. Good. I found a word.

I can’t believe that Hogan’s ex wife thinks that her Son being in jail is worse for her than for the Mom who lost her son THANKS to Linda Hogan’s son’s STUPIDITY!!!!

And Hogan making sure that he gets his Son a TV show after he’s released just makes this family sleazy. If that’s not enough Linda’s been seen with some kid younger than her own daughter. All in all, the respect I once had for the Hogan family (okay, Hulk Hogan) is pretty much shot now. Yep. Shot.

I know this was short and I’m sorry but wrestling just isn’t what it used to be. They need something. Heyman and a few good writers and let’s not forget actually wrestling.

Hello Viewers,
Well, both the Hall of Fame and Wrestlemania have once again, come and gone for another year. What a ride this was.

First let’s talk about the Hall of Fame.
Boo to Vince for only showing an hour. I would have liked to have seen the entire thing. Did he put the first two hours on his website like the last time? Probably.

They showed a quick close up of Jerry Lawler and he looked so handsome. But then again, I think he always does.

Rock looked good didn’t he? And he was funny. Especially when he said that Hunter was so excited that somehow Stephanie was pregnant. Well, something better than that but it was hilarious.

Only Mic would actually put a tux on a sock. Then again, only Mic carries one in his pocket

Mae looked awesome. She really seemed so happy. I know she’s been morning her dear friend, Moolah but last evening she seemed to beam. Good for her. It was her day.

The Brisco’s looked great and this was well deserved.

Of course, Rock’s Dad looked pretty good I thought. And his Mom. Wow. The things she said about her Dad made me miss mine even more.

Rock looked really proud to be the one to actually induct his family and the tears well they left me weak at the knees.
His jokes were hilarious. I loved when he made fun of the Marine and then said to Cena, ‘hey, I made doom.’ HAHA

Hunter was funny and right on when he said what he did about Ric Flair.

When Flair started crying that’s when you knew it was the beginning of the end. Of the night, of his career. It was just touching. Too bad the show ran over and Flair’s speech was cut off. GRRRRR

Congratulations to all that were inducted in.

Now onto WRESTLEMANIA….

First off a Jeer. Why was the lumberjack match with 24 superstars a dark match? I would have loved to have seen that and considering we paid what he did for this PPV, we should have been able to SEE it. Plus the extra ten bucks to see it in HD. GRRRR VINCE, GRRRR

John Legend singing America The Beautiful was really awesome just after the jets flew over the stadium.

I thought his name was Finley and he loved to fight? So why didn’t he fight dirty and beat the pants off of JBL? I wanted him to win so badly. The match was not a bad match actually. And hey, this show actually had wrestling….Who Knew???

THE LADDER MATCH.

While I was rooting for CM Punk to win (yay) this was before Jericho came out. So, as a true jericoholic I changed my mind and rooted for the cute Canadian. (I should have stuck with my gut feeling) Because as you all know CM Punk won. But what a match.
Matt Hardy was the big surprise of the night knocking MVP out off of the ladder. But I think the coolest move was done by Morrison who, actually moonsaulted with a ladder taking every single guy IN the ring, out.

Truly, A great match. Lots of wrestling, high flying and just plain craziness that really made this a good match.

Alright, I could have lived without Snoop Dog but Mic Foley and Mr. Socko well, it wouldn’t be wrestlemania without either one would it? However, when Dogg rang the bell and Festus went nuts, THAT was funny.

BATISTA wins. Okay, you knew that this was going to happen right? Umaga is big and all but hey, it’s wrestlemania and here, The BIG guys lose (I’m still crying Big Show)
Now I know what your thinking. Your thinking’ Annie Batista isn’t small and you’d be right. But C’mon, Batista is huge however, all that weight that Umaga has on him you’d think that would be enough. But Nope. You know the old saying, the bigger they are the harder they fall…..

BIG SHOW!!!!! Can you see the pain on his face still? I can. Losing to that guy. Sorry, he’s NOT the greatest as that would be Ali. But I digress.
MayWeather jumped on Show and did a real naked choke which, just sounds icky and it brings Show down.

Of course his ‘crew’ try to help because hey, it is wrestling and they think boxing is so much better (it’s not but hey) and of course Show kicks their butts.

Big Show actually steps on Mayweather and his crew scream you can’t step on him (watch him moron) I loved this entire part. It was my favorite of this match. Then again, I hate boxing because I think IT’S rigged so there.

They try taking ‘cough’ the boxer ‘cough’ away but you knew Show wouldn’t let that happen. The chair shots to Big Show and cheating from Mayflower and it’s 1 2 3 and he wins it instead of the Big Show. Again I say GRRRRR.

Kane wins. That’s it. He came he win they left the ring. Seriously. The fastest match I have ever seen in wrestling since The Ultimate Warrior took out HHH before he was HHH in eight seconds. Why, your reading my View of this match and the View is longer than the match.

BoooooooWHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Wow. Awesome. Great match and I HATE HBK. Then again, I can spin it this way, ONLY HBK would be the one to screw someone over. Awww But did you see the love on his face. And did you read his lips. Sorry, I love you and then the sweet chin music. Down went Flair and so did HBK kissing him on the forehead.

This match was really bittersweet for me. Not a real big Flair fan and I can’t stand HBK but I wanted Flair to go out a winner. I wanted Flair to leave with a smile. Okay, I wanted HBK knocked on his little white butt. I have to tell you this match was fabulous. Simply fabulous. Both men were spectacular in the ring. It was tough watching Flair though as he lost. He stood up crying and his children were at ringside crying as well. The fans were screaming, eyes wet from the tears, Whooo signs everywhere, it was something to see I can tell you that.

Flair walked to his kids who were at ringside and kissed each one of them, walked back down the ramp, turned, gave a final wave and there he went. Flair had an amazing career and life so far, I truly hope it continues for him.
Bittersweet I tell you.

The Women’s match.
The best thing about this match was when that dumb Italian guy interfered and Jerry Lawler stepped in and then punched him. Afterwards when Maria loses to the blonde girl with the wonder woman headpiece Snoop dogg gets a piece of the Italian as well. Lawler needs to wrestle more often and really kick this guy in the butt.
I LOVE LAWLER. Now to me HE’s the KING OF THE RING.

And this match. Oh My Gosh!!!! Orton/Cena/Hunter and who wins? EEEEWWWWW Orton. Why? What for? I love John Cena and Hunter and wasn’t sure who I could really root for. I mean, I met Cena but have loved Hunter for such a long time. So I had decided that whomever won this match as long as it was one of them I’d be fine.

I’M NOT FINE. I can’t believe Orton won it. I mean seriously, Triple H pedigrees Cena and you think it’s over because the ref’s at the two count but here comes Orton kicking Hunter in the face and then, Orton falls on Cena and the ref does the count and I can still hear the bell!!! Oh wait, that’s the replay in the background. Still, it sucked. 2/3′s of the wrestlers IN this match I wanted to win and do they? Nope.
See, this is why I don’t go to the track and bet.

But I have got to tell you this match was awesome. It was pretty long, the wrestling was EXCELLENT and a good job was done by all. But why did Orton have to win?

Undertaker’s record is not only safe but he now has the belt.

I can’t say enough about this match. It was worth every single dime of the PPV itself. Just a great match. Just when you thought Edge was going to win (and believe me with the record loss I was suffering tonight I thought Edge might win) UT kicks out. Then UT had Edge pinned and Edge kicked out. It was awesome. From start to finish. You really weren’t sure who was going to win you really weren’t.

All in all wrestlemania was pretty good. I’ll give it an 8 because some people I thought should have won didn’t but otherwise it was excellent. And considering wrestling has been lackluster to say the LEAST as of late, believe me that’s a great reView.

Holy Cow!!! What a night. Of course the best part of the evening was when Flair gave his speech and Hunter came out and introduced everyone they could manage to get to come to say goodbye to Ric Flair.

It really was incredible the way everyone seemed to come out for this man. But then again, 36 years is a long time to be in this business.

Most men retire earlier due to some type of injury or worse, they die at such a young age so this was a rarity to see at least in this business.

As I watched all of the wrestlers come out one by one my thoughts turned to Chris Benoit and I thought how stupid he was because of all the men that Flair worked with, Benoit was probably one of the best. Sigh…

It was truly awesome how much one man could touch so many lives.

Shawn really looked as if he felt bad for doing what he’d done. For retiring Flair. Good. It’s nice to know.

Flair was one of a kind. They act like he won’t be back but I’m hoping we’ll see him from time to time as we do the Rock, Foley, and Austin.

All in all I have to say that this was probably one of the best ways a wrestler could leave. With style, grace and (pardon the pun) Flare.

Have a great life Ric. Enjoy those kids and that wife.

Now I think I’m actually done but who knows.

Hello Viewers,
Wow. After three long weeks of really not seeing much to write about in wrestling, I thought I’d better come on and tell you I STILL don’t see too much that’s really exciting. So, once again (thanks Vince) this is going to be a pretty brief column.

First of all, I would like to thank all the Viewers that View me and always remember this is YOUR View to. And a HUGE THANK YOU for those of you that have been with me since I started ten years ago. You know who you are and the love is felt believe me.

But I don’t want to leave out the newbies either because without your support and your feedback as well, Annie’s View wouldn’t have made it this far either. So Thanks to each and everyone of you for truly reading and believing that a girl really knows stuff about wrestling besides which guy looks good because as much as I love the men, I truly love the sport of wrestling.

So my big question is where in the bloody #$## has it gone? True, we do get some really excellent matches but now, it seems as though in order to truly SEE one you have to shell out $50 bucks for a PPV. Now this would be great if every single match was worth that price. Sadly, most aren’t worth their price. Which leads me to…

WRESTLEMANIA which usually IS worth it’s price. We have the huge stars of the past that like to return. Then, there is the Hall of Fame show the day before which almost everyone of the inductees attend (sav Bret Hart and we all know why he backed out (Again, THANKS VINCE)

And the show is a pretty good one. I’m hoping this time round it’s just as good.

Who should get that beautiful belt around their waist though? That’s a good question. Triple H or should I call him what my Mom does which is Big H ha ha. Yes that’s what she thought his name was. Now he’s been without the belt now for a good while and so, if he were to grab this belt now I think a lot of people wouldn’t mind. As a matter of fact….

I think they’d cheer because it has been such a long time. But I could be wrong so, the Question of the Week this time is WHO DO YOU WANT TO HAVE THE BELT WHEN WRESTLEMANIA IS OVER?

John Cena. Now there is a guy that’s had the belt for a long long time. Until of course, his injury which has sidelined him until the Royal Rumble. Now how surprising was it that Cena won the rumble? Really surprising since nobody knew he was even entered.

Oh the days of when the Royal Rumble was coming how each week a few more wrestlers signed up for it. Why, you were just waiting and hoping that your favorite would sign up so you could possibly watch them actually win.

But those days have gone by the wayside if we weren’t even told that John Cena was entered. I wonder just how many people that didn’t buy the Royal Rumble because Cena wasn’t in it were mad because well, he won? If you were one of them, let me know. I’d really like to know.

Would you like Cena to have the belt again? It seemed like he had it for such a long time that do you think he should still get it back this quickly? I know lots of questions from me this evening but you know, that’s because I have lots of questions.

Then of course there is Randy Orton. Now just because I’m not an Orton fan doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any. So perhaps you think that Randy should retain the belt.

Now onto RAW

Well, I guess what really gets me is the HBK/Flair match that’s going to be at the PPV. HBK is acting like he’s gonna kick the stuffing out of the Nature boy and sure, I suppose he could. However, since I’m not a huge Michael’s fan but then again, Flair isn’t my favorite either, I still think Flair’s got more to give us and my money rides on the Nature boy taking this win. What do you think?

And what about Cena? Who didn’t know that Cena was going to pit Hunter and Orton together? Only the people that don’t watch wrestling or, the ones that turn it on for a laugh and no nothing about the plot lines (such as they are. Where IS Heyman when you need him)? No, you’d have to be well, I’ll let you fill in that blank NOT to have known that Cena was going to put these two in the same ring at the same time for the main event.

And what an event it was. Hunter was great. And even Randy gave as good as he got. (Yeah, I know, not big on him either) but I do give credit where it’s due and Randy has it coming. I think this match was my favorite of the night.

And Hornsy (for lack of a better word) isn’t a McMahon. Congratulations!!! You get to be the Son of Fit Finley. Hey at least he’s a real wrestler. And when Finley destroys a career, it’s because well, wait, Finley hasn’t ever destroyed anyone’s career that I know of. So whoohooo Hornsy you came out of this in much MUCH better shape than when you started.

I guess my View ran a little bit longer than I thought it would. Sorry about that. Guess I had a little more to say than I thought.

Before I go, of course some of you sent in your answers to the QOTW three weeks ago. Ahem, sorry about that. So here it is on what YOU would like to see in wrestling.

Steve wrote this about my QOTW: IN 2008 WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE HAPPEN IN THE WORLD OF WRESTLING?

My GREAT friend Vicki wrote this I would like to see 2008 go back in time. Back to the Stone Cold/Dude Love/The Rock/DX days. Back when wrestling was FUN. I have to be honest, I don’t really care about wrestling matches anymore. It’s always the same 4 or 5 people, anyway. I want guys with mic skills who crack me up. So what I would like to see if for Vinnie Mac to encourage more humor!

Another Friend, Jerry who also writes when not vacationing wrote this and I have to say I agree with him as well. So far, I have agreed with all of you actually. Here’s what Jerry had to say one what he’d like to see:
I would like to see DX reunited full-time; and I mean all of DX.
However, since HHH will be taking HIS Title back, that wont happen.

I would also like to see the “real” ECW, not that SmackDown spin off crap that they call ECW. The Emperor has to get over his “I don’t like that crap” attitude and give us the ECW that we loved so much.

But there you have it, my View, still wanting YOUR VIEW, a QOTW what did I leave out? Nothing Viewers.

Hello Everyone and Welcome back to another View.
Thanks for the letters addressing the Question of the Week.

I’m going to just get started so here goes

RAW IN HD

Wow. Yep, RAW was wonderful in HD and all I could think was why didn’t Vince shell out the money for this a LOT sooner.
Everyone looked great. Jericho is really cute anyway but wow, in HD, he looks even better. And I really didn’t think that was possible.

This might get some more people to tune in. As long as they have HD that is. I have it because my husband is a gadget guy and holds the record for getting the gadgets faster than any man I know. Even if they’re not for him. Yep, that’s right because I own stuff that he thinks I should have.

But even he loved RAW in HD. Oh sure, he didn’t watch all of it and truthfully, the show itself wasn’t all that great. But at least it was a clear picture.

And HHH was being completely honest when he said that Vince was backstage getting all kinds of attention from the make up artist because lets face it, the older you get the older you look. But I will say this, Vince didn’t look bad at all.

However, there were some that did. Ric Flair was one of them but you know, he’s taken so many bumps and bruises if he looked as good as Jericho, well then on vacation he’s be recovering from a lot more than just ring beatings.

But the entire show wasn’t horrible and Yes, I’m not one of those people that tune into RAW to just watch the guys in tights. Nope. I actually like wrestling.

Hunter’s match was excellent. Although, they needed to give him better partners. I really don’t think of (nor will I ever) Marc Henry as a wrestler. Sorry but that’s just something I can’t fathom. I was expecting Umaga and was surprised it wasn’t him. However, the best part came when William Regal came out and the two of them went round in the ring.

The ending of this match didn’t surprise me as I just figured that somehow Triple H would wind up in the Royal Rumble. And why not?

Actually, I would love to see Jerry Lawler in the Royal Rumble. I’m sure Vince wouldn’t allow him to win but wouldn’t it be awesome if he did? I mean think about it. It would give Jerry another run, another crown and another chance at Wrestlemania.

Sure, Jerry probably doesn’t want to do that much in the ring anymore but if he won the Rumble and then lost at Wrestlemania, I think that’d be great. Well, not Jerry losing of course but the run. Vince, if you read me please make a note of what I’m saying.

Besides, if Flair can still wrestle (and I’m not saying anything bad about him mind you) then shouldn’t Jerry be allowed? Personally, for this Viewer, that would be the dream for now.

Jericho told JBL off and I’m glad he did. I didn’t like JBL’s little speech especially using Jericho’s children. Who writes that stuff because let me tell you, I could have done a much better job without using anyone’s kids. It’s too bad that Vince or Stephanie or whomever decided to write that speech out for JBL thought it was fitting to use kids. Then again, I’m just not fond of that. I don’t consider that writing much less GOOD writing. Shame of you whoever you are.

(NOTE: JBL hit a gym ANY gym will do)

One other part of the show I liked was when Finley and Hornswoggle kicked major booty. This was a great match. Now this is what wrestling is all about. At least when it comes to tag teaming.

Of course Jeff Hardy totally rocked the house. Anyone that can kick Orton’s butt has me for a huge fan. I just don’t like him. Randy stinks of cockiness and is smug. He’s in love with himself and those are his good points. I’m not a huge HBK fan but I’ll say this, Randy Orton makes Michael’s look humble.

Well, on to your Views from the last column. This one took a while because frankly, nothing good as been going on in wrestling worth writing about.
